Alakazam Comics in Irvine, CA

Chock full of goodies, nerd heaven with comics, board games, RPG’s (the paper kind, not the explosive kind), some manga, and other accoutrement such as dice and and accompanying soft carriers.

it just felt right the moment we walked in. they have a good selection, i found a few graphic novels ive been wanting for ages and the staff was really helpful but not pushy. the whole vibe was relaxed and i could have spent alot more time looking around. definately going back next time i visits the area.

Fantastic local shop! Great selection and amazing customer service (I called and asked if they had a particular title and they set it aside for me just in case, even though I forgot to ask them to!). Wonderful vibe and all-around great experience. Excited to visit again in the future!

Lively atmosphere, perfect for new collectors to come and learn about different hobbies. Many different types of collecting available. Small space so if it’s a Wednesday probably busier. Great staff, great organization. Too easy to buy too many things lol.
